What Does a Coach DO?
A coach creates a training plan for you that is customized to help you reach your goals. A coach continuously fine tunes the training approach as you move through the program, in order to keep an athlete motivated by making the plan interesting!
A coach also holds you accountable by reviewing each workout you do, including looking at metrics (heart rate, recovery, etc) as well as your perceived exertion during the workout. Your coach will also comment on your workouts once they have reviewed.
Finally, your coach will schedule a conversation with you once a month in order to check in, to see how you’re doing and to modify the plan, if needed. It is common for goals to shift a little while training, as you begin to get comfortable with the workouts - your coach will adapt the plan accordingly.
